CITGO's sponsorship of Milka Duno is a real coup in reaching out to the Hispanic market. Duno is a Venezuelan Naval Engineer with four Master's degrees, three of which were earned simultaneously. Milka holds the distinction of being the first woman ever to win a major North American sports car race. She is also the first woman and the first Latina in the history of the Grand American Road Racing Series to achieve an overall win. And, she has become a fashion/glamour icon featured in many magazines like Vogue, Esquire, and Selecta.
Her latest and perhaps most visible engagement to date was with the Pontiac Division of General Motors. Under the agreement, Duno appears in Pontiac's largest-ever Hispanic marketing campaign integrating language, culturally relevant broadcast, print, Web and promotional advertising to launch the G6, Pontiac's all-new sports sedan.
