This huge news is due, in part, to the efforts of our very own Kara Gunderson, POS Manager. Her work as the co-chair of the Petroleum Working
Committee within the U.S. Payments Forum (formerly known as the EMV Migration Forum) helped identify challenges surrounding EMV AFD
solution readiness and ultimately encouraged Visa and MasterCard to extend the deadline.
CITGO Marketers and Retailers are encouraged to continue their outdoor EMV migration path to meet consumer expectations and the new deadline in order to help mitigate fraud at the pump.
