Junior Achievement brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential and offering them preparation for life after high school.

CITGO Lake Charles is very active in supporting education at all levels in Calcasieu Parish. In addition to the benefits seen by our local schools as a result of the economic impact to the city we provide, CITGO has participated as a partner in the Calcasieu Parish school system ""Partners in Education"" program since 1988.

CITGO continues to look for opportunities to promote education and volunteerism through serving its four Partners in Education schools: E.K. Key Elementary School, Sulphur High School, Sulphur High School 9th Grade Campus and the Calcasieu Career Center.

CITGO also supports McNeese State University with a regular endowment to the colleges of Business and Engineering. The Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex is also a strong supporter of Sowela Technical College and its process technology degree program which is a vital resource for us in hiring qualified operators.
