CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – April 12, 2019 – CITGO Petroleum Corporation and Visit Corpus Christi are celebrating a milestone in 2019 with the fifth annual Fiesta de la Flor honoring Tejano music superstar Selena Quintanilla Perez. For the 5th year, CITGO is presenting sponsor of the 2-day music festival celebrating the life and legacy of the Tejano music icon.

Since its inception in 2015, Fiesta de la Flor has become recognized worldwide as a popular music festival. In 2018, Fiesta de la Flor attracted more than 59,000 visitors to the Coastal Bend from 42 states and 8 countries and contributed more than $11 million to the local economy. This year’s festival features a lineup of Tejano and GRAMMY® Award winning artists including Little Joe Y La Familia, Jay Perez and Ram Herrera. Festival-goers also have access to international artisans, food trucks and an interactive area for children.

The 2019 festival, which takes place on April 12-13, 2019 at North Bayfront Park in Corpus Christi, also features One Person Unites Us, a sit-down conversation with Suzette Quintanilla, president and CEO of Q Productions and singer, actress and TV personality Adrienne Bailon.  
 
Supporting community events, such as Fiesta de la Flor, is reflective of the CITGO mission of “Fueling Good” in the communities in which its employees live and work.
