HOUSTON , Sept. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- CITGO Petroleum Corporation leadership welcomed Light Oils and Lubricants marketers to Nashville, Sept. 22–24, for the 2025 CITGO President's Meeting, a high-level forum designed to align CITGO and its marketers around growth, innovation, and partnership.
Building on the momentum of CITGO's Light Oils and Lubricants brands, and the "Good to Grow" theme, the event focused on building relationships while spotlighting bold new initiatives, from advanced brand, technology and asset investments to enhanced customer service and training offerings.

Executives shared updates about industry trends and the company's strategic plan, while interactive breakout sessions allowed marketers to engage directly with Light Oils and Lubricants leaders to explore strategies tailored to their businesses.

Light Oils: Light Oils Marketing leaders reviewed the value propositions driving the brand's momentum including the rapidly growing Club CITGO loyalty program and new mobile payment integrations, continued focus on image excellence through the Illuminate image program and a new mystery shopper program, evolving technologies benefiting terminal logistics and payment card operations, and expansion into the western U.S. through brand licensing.
- Lubricants: Lubricants leaders discussed the outlook for lubricants demand, efforts to improve business development capabilities, regulatory updates, logistics optimization opportunities, expansion of training under the CITGO Technical Resource Program, and marketing offerings including a refreshed VEKTOR marketing program that incentivizes top tier marketers.

At the event, CITGO also reaffirmed its longstanding commitment to community partnership, announcing a special donation initiative for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA): 15¢ from every gallon purchased through the Club CITGO app on Sept. 24 will be donated to MDA, up to $25,000.
Looking ahead, regional roundtable meetings will begin in October to continue the dialogue with marketers and set the stage for brand strategies and growth programs planned for 2026.
