Shane Moser

Vice President Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE)

Shane Moser was named Vice President Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) in October 2021. Before joining CITGO, he served as Corporate HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental) Manager for Motiva Enterprises LLC, overseeing and managing the company’s HSSE programs, and as HSSE Manager of the Motiva Port Arthur Manufacturing Complex, managing the largest refinery in North America.

Shane also served as Refining HSSE Manager for Phillips 66 and held several senior leadership roles in corporate, refining, chemicals, terminals and logistics with Marathon, ExxonMobil, and Olin.

Shane is a renowned industry expert in HSSE, Occupational Safety, Process Safety, Crisis Management, and Merger and Acquisitions.

Shane holds a Master of Science in Loss Prevention and Safety Management and a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering, both from Eastern Kentucky University.
