Houston, October 9, 2019 - CITGO Aruba Holding, a subsidiary of PDV Holding, Inc., reached an agreement this Wednesday with the Government of Aruba to temporarily suspend their contract for the refurbishment and operation of the oil refinery located in San Nicolás on the Caribbean Island.
According to a spokesperson from the company, “The Terminal’s operations will be temporarily transferred to the Government of Aruba. The contract will be resumed once a democratic transition is ongoing in Venezuela.” The Spokesperson also added that CITGO Aruba Holding “will address its obligations with workers and suppliers during the entire process of the Terminal’s transfer of operations.”
